香港 – 2016年9月8日 – ESET今天宣布，於香港區推出全新版本的「ESET Online Scanner」。隨著網絡病毒威脅越趨複雜，勒索軟件的無處不在，令不少個人及中小企業用戶人人自危。雖然每個人的電腦裡頭幾乎都有安裝防毒軟件，但基於衝突原因，往往只能安裝一套防毒軟件，容易遇上有漏報掃描不到的病毒。
「ESET Online Scanner」是一款完全免費、免安裝、免任何註冊訊息的病毒掃描工具，透過用戶習慣使用的瀏覽器：包括 Chrome、Firefox、Internet Explorer、Edge 或 Opera，直接進行深度系統掃描，同時檢測已知或未知的病毒、蠕蟲、木馬、間諜程式、釣魚程式及其他各種網絡威脅，並支援掃描壓縮文件，搜索隱藏的惡意程式。
