訊連科技偕同玩美移動舉辦「AI Meets Beauty Challenge」為新零售開發具商業潛力之AI物件辨識技術

【2019年10月30日，台北訊】全球AI臉部辨識與多媒體創作軟體領導廠商訊連科技（5203.TW），偕同玩美移動和國立交通大學共同舉辦第二屆「AI Meets Beauty Challenge」全球競賽，吸引全球AI開發團隊參與，並於日前法國尼斯舉辦之2019 AMC多媒體學術研討會 (2019 ACM Multimedia) 公布得獎團隊，由中國科學技術大學團隊獲得首獎。

「AI Meets Beauty Challenge」為一項全球性的人工智慧技術競賽，透過與世界技術領導廠商與頂尖學術團隊合作，旨在為培育未來AI人才、提升技術與提供多元挑戰平台，並藉由全球性團隊競賽，解決目前美妝科技的相關技術問題，展示智慧科技帶來的消費新體驗。

主辦單位提供超過50萬張來自全球美妝品牌及個人護理相關產品的商品照片（Perfect-500K），參賽團隊需藉由Perfect-500K資料庫訓練人工智慧模型，以辨識現實世界中之美妝美容產品，並與資料庫中的商品進行配對。經過數個月的比對與嚴格的評核過程，最終評選出辨識率最佳的團隊。

經過數個月的評核，最終選出全球共55隊的菁英入圍決選，其中中國科學技術大學團隊榮獲首獎，以Generalized-attention Regional Maximal Activation of Convolutions (GRMAC) 描述符打造之辨識技術，可精準聚焦影像主體，有效降低圖片內的雜亂背景對準確度的影響，大幅提升AI辨識能力。此外，廣東科技學院及廣州視源電子科技股份有限公司的參賽隊伍則分別獲得第二、三名的獎項。此次競賽中也產出4篇學術論文，正式於2019 AMC多媒體學術研討會 (2019 ACM Multimedia) 在法國尼斯對外發表。

台灣精品獎為為台灣產業界的奧斯卡獎，從研發、設計、品質、行銷層面評選出各產業最優質的產品。今年度台灣精品獎報名產品件數逾千件，訊連提供多樣化之解決方案獲得評審青睞，以威力導演18、相片大師11、U整合通訊及FaceMe® AI臉部辨識引擎獲得四座台灣精品獎肯定。

訊連科技U整合通訊攜手中華電信 打造雲網融合的溝通新視界

【2019年9月19日，台北訊】多媒體整合通訊領導廠商訊連科技（5203.TW）與中華電信國際電信分公司於今日共同舉辦「打造雲網融合的溝通新視界」記者會，宣布合作推廣「U整合通訊」服務。透過與中華電信國際電信分公司攜手合作，將U整合通訊服務推廣至中華電信國際電信分公司之各式企業用戶。

「U整合通訊」服務，包含U通訊、U會議及U簡報（直播）三大服務。可協助企業快速建置即時通訊聯絡網、舉辦跨國跨據點之多人視訊會議，以及進行教育訓練、研討會、記者會等活動直播。U整合通訊可突破溝通的時間、地域限制，幫助企業在數位轉型的路上打造雲網融合之溝通平台。

U通訊可協助企業快速建置即時通訊聯絡網。透過與企業之電子郵件AD帳號整合，網管及IT人員可設定根據部門自動創建群組、同步新進或離職員工名單等。U通訊方便企業進行帳號控管，避免一般通訊軟體造成之管理及資安漏洞。

企業用戶亦可使用U會議服務快速進行高品質之視訊或語音會議。使用者可透過個人電腦（Windows、Mac）和行動裝置（iOS、Android）之專用軟體、或是Chrome瀏覽器加入會議。U會議可相容於各式USB視訊鏡頭及麥克風、揚聲器等設備，彈性建置於5人以下的小型會議室、15人以下的中型會議室或超過15人的大型會議室或教室中，開設多達100名與會者之高品質視訊會議。

近年來，企業大量使用直播形式進行教育訓練、記者會、法說會、研討會或其他行銷活動。訊連科技U簡報（直播）服務可讓企業安排500名觀眾以上的直播活動，或是透過客製化服務提供高達五千名觀眾線上進行觀看。透過直播可以打破實體活動之時間、地域之限制，觸及更多受眾，並可透過雲端隨選服務讓未參加活動之觀眾進行回放收看。
