ESET, headquartered in the Slovak Republic, is the first Slovak company to be awarded the \u2018Cybersecurity Made in Europe\u2019 label and sees the designation as further recognition of the company\u2019s capabilities and commitment to protecting citizens, businesses and government bodies from cyberthreats.<\/strong>

BRATISLAVA\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 July 21, 2021 \u2013 ESET is one of the first Europe-based IT security companies to be awarded the \u2018Cybersecurity Made in Europe\u2019 label by the European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO). The seal of approval underscores the quality and values of European security vendors that meet the criteria.

To earn ECSO\u2019s \u2018Cybersecurity Made in Europe\u2019 label, companies must demonstrate that:
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the head office of the company is located in Europe;
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the majority of the employees are employed in Europe;
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the core market is Europe; and
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the\u00a010 baseline security requirements<\/a>\u00a0specified by ENISA, as essential for products and services in information and communication technology to be considered secure, are complied with.
